Recognition of Competence
Accreditation is a formal, third party recognition that an organization is competent to perform tasks for which it is accredited.
SEAC Engineering Inc. is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as an Inspection Body. SCC is Canada's national accreditation body, well-respected in Canada and around the world, and delivers high quality and rigorous accreditation services.
In Canada, regulators in almost all the jurisdictions require that the approvals of electrical equipment and fuel-burning appliances and equipment must be done by inspection and certification bodies accredited by the Standards Council of Canada.
Our accreditation scope includes the following programs:
- Commercial and Industrial Gas-Fired Appliances and Equipment (CSA B149 Conformity Assessment)
- Field Evaluation/Special Inspection of Electrical Equipment (CSA SPE-1000 Conformity Assessment)
